2022 Art Against Assault Tour
Update: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are postponing future planning of any in-person visits for Art Against Assault. In the meantime, we are offering to collaborate with universities and organizations to provide virtual visitations, web conferences, and panel presentations. Please reach out to us if you would like to organize an online event for your organization. We strongly believe that while physical social distancing is necessary at this time, it does not follow that conversation and action towards sexual assault and domestic violence victim’s advocacy should stop.
About the Art Against Assault Tour
For five years now, Art Against Assault has visited college campuses, universities, and local survivor organizations to discuss the importance of addressing sexual assault and domestic violence trauma through art.
We’ve made stops at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Maryland Institute College of the Art, Mills College, Rhode Island School of Design, Syracuse University, and more. We’ve raised thousands of dollars for sexual assault and domestic violence crisis survivor services. We’ve met face-to-face with student survivors, Title IX administrators, supportive faculty and staff, as well as representatives of rape crisis centers and other sexual assault survivor organizations to discuss how art can serve as a resource for healing while also raising the volume on sexual assault awareness.
Thank You
Thank you to the following organizations we’ve worked with over the years who have supported us in our mission as we have supported them in theirs to raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence through art:
